Schull Community College is a co-educational, non-selective and multi-denominational facility which caters for the educational needs of post-primary students on the Mizen peninsula. Implicit in this mission is the creation of a caring educational community within a strong Christian ethos which will enable all students to develop to their full potential.
We encourage an atmosphere of care, support and concern for all members of the college community. Enrolment is open to all. Students with special educational needs are welcomed and provided for while a comprehensive care structure is in place to support all students. The sense of inclusion is central to the lived ethos of the college.
Choice is implicit in all aspects of subject provision and in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Care and respect for diversity are embedded in teaching and learning and in student care.
“Schull Community College achieves superb educational outcomes, a broad and balanced education is provided with a strong focus on the quality of teaching.” Minister for Education and Skills
