McEgan College FE is situated in the heart of Muskerry and is the largest provider of Further Education in the Mid Cork region. The College offers national and internationally recognised QQI Level 5 and 6 courses all of which are underpinned by their practical nature as well as the relevant and up to date experiences they provide. Work experience is an integral part of each of the courses and we have established strong links between the College, local employers and Universities / Institutes of Technologies.

McEgan College of Further Education has two campii in Macroom. The Schools of Business and Sports & Recreation are located in the main college in the centre of Macroom.

Hairdressing, Applied Social Studies, Nursing Studies and Healthcare Support and Childcare, are facilitated on a separate campus in Macroom E on Bowl Rd.
