Patronage of the new school for Carrigtwohill has been awarded to the Cork Education and Training Board.  This Community National School is a new, green field, coeducational primary school with Cork Education and Training Board as patron.  It is due to open in September, 2015 to cater for an enrolment of Junior Infant pupils only, in a premises to be provided by the Department of Education and Skills.
